Greetings, church family!

The refreshing feel of fall-like weather is a welcome sign of the new season. It reminds us of a harvest yet to come and the abundant blessings we have already received. This week, our Weekly Announcement is focused on the theme of gratitude. Let us remember to give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for us in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Just a few weeks from now, on September 21, we have a special opportunity to open our doors and our hearts in a big way. We're calling it Wesley Family and Friends Invitation Sunday, and we encourage every member to prayerfully consider inviting friends and family. This day is a wonderful opportunity to share the blessing of our church community. Many people are just waiting for an invitation, and this is our chance to invite them . Please keep praying for those God is placing on your hearts.

The Red Cross CPR training will be held three times in October at the Fellowship Hall;

1. October 2nd, 2025 - 2 class options: 8:30 – 11:45 and 11:45 – 2:45. These are Red Cross Blended Learning courses with on-line prerequisites.

2. October 23rd, 2025 - Full In Person learning 8:30 – 2:30.

Upper Room Devotionals for September and October are distributed at the Narthex.

Monthly Prayer Meeting for September will be held Thursday, September 4th at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.

We will gather this coming Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. for Adult Sunday School in the first room of the Fellowship Hall.
