Dear Wesley Church Family,

I hope you are all staying well. This Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season, a 40-day journey of prayer, reflection, and renewal. I pray that we will enter into a deep and meaningful spiritual journey together. To support this season, the church will provide a Weekly Lenten Devotional to help guide your meditation and prayer throughout Lent.

Here are a few announcements for the coming week:

Called Church Council Meeting – Sunday, February 22

The Church Council will meet next Sunday, immediately after the worship service. Dr. Jonathan Page, who is a Director of Leadership at Lewis Center at Wesley Theological Seminary, will join us for worship that morning and meet with the Council afterward.

Dale Swartz Trinity Circle – Monday, February 23 at 3:30 PM

All women of Wesley are warmly invited to gather in the Parlor. For more information, please contact the church.

Honduras Mission Trip Support (April 19–25, 2026)

Please keep the mission team (Team leader: Pastor Joe, Team members: Anjana, Charlie, Nia, Paul, Kelly, Pastor Michelle) in your prayers as they prepare for this meaningful journey. We distributed the gift list from Missionary Glen for Honduras Independence Bilingual School last Sunday. Please prayerfully consider supporting the team through donations. Thank you for sharing in this mission through your prayers and generosity.

Weekly Essay

Please read the weekly essay, “I Am Known, Seen, and Cared For” by Pastor Joe Prewitt-Díaz.

Pastor Schedule

I will be attending the Board of Ordained Ministry interviews for provisional membership from Sunday, February 22 through Thursday, February 26.

Thank you for your continued prayers and faithfulness. May God bless you and your loved ones throughout the week ahead.

Grace and peace,

Pastor Michelle
