Dear Church Family,
We’re excited to share some wonderful news with you today! Wesley United Methodist Church has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the General Board of Global Ministries to support our ministry with Spanish-speaking families in our community.
This is more than just a financial gift, it’s an affirmation of the vision God has placed before us. Through this grant, we are able to take a meaningful step forward in our mission team’s 10-step roadmap, as we begin building and nurturing a Spanish-speaking congregation under the umbrella of Wesley UMC.
I’d especially like to recognize Pastor Joe, whose deep love for Spanish-speaking families in our community moved him to take the lead in writing this grant. When I first shared the opportunity, he responded with both compassion and clear vision and now we’re beginning to see the fruit of that faithful response.
Please join me in celebrating what God is doing in and through our church and in praying for the lives that will be touched in the days ahead.
Below are this week’s announcements and information for the upcoming service:
Monthly Prayer Meeting – Thursday, May 7 at 7:00 p.m.
We invite you to join us in the sanctuary for our monthly prayer meeting. During this meaningful time together, we will also hear additional reflections and testimonies from our Honduras Mission Team. Come and be part of this gathering as we lift up those in need in prayer and witness how God is at work through our church’s mission ministry.

As we close, I want to say how much I’m looking forward to gathering together this Sunday to celebrate Mother’s Day. It will be a special time to honor and give thanks for the women who have nurtured, guided, and loved us so faithfully. I hope you’ll join us as we come together in worship and gratitude.
Pastor Michelle
