Dear Church Family,
As we begin this week, I would also like to extend warm greetings for St. Patrick’s Day, which we observed this Tuesday. This day reminds us of the faithful witness of Patrick, who shared the light of Christ with courage and humility. May his example inspire us to live out our faith with joy, to share God’s love with others, and to remember that God’s grace is at work even in the ordinary moments of our lives. May the peace of Christ and the hope of the Gospel be with you and your families this week.
We are grateful that the Church Council approved last Sunday the process of moving forward with the exploration of a closer partnership with Rising Hope. As this process unfolds, I invite all members of our church to keep an open and hopeful spirit, trusting that God continues to lead our congregation in new and faithful ways of serving our community.
Below are this week’s announcements and upcoming opportunities for worship, service, and fellowship.
Dale Swartz Trinity Circle - next Monday, March 23, at 3:30 pm
The Dale Swartz Trinity Circle will meet on Monday, March 23 at 3:30 pm. We will be discussing chapter four in our book, Sweeter than Honey. We will continue our fellowship with dinner at Della J’s at 5:30 pm. All women of the church are invited to one or both of these activities. Please contact Gayle Besemer if you have any questions.
