Dear Wesley Church Family,
Warm greetings, church family! We hope you enjoy the warm weather this week and find moments to rest, refresh, and give thanks.
We are grateful that we were able to host Scout Sunday last week and had a wonderful time together. Special thanks to Scott for his gracious hospitality, and we were especially thankful that our District Superintendent visited and met with church members. Below are a few announcements for this week and ahead.
Ash Wednesday Service – February 18, at 5:00 PM
Church family, as we prepare to enter the season of Lent, we invite you to join us for our Ash Wednesday service next Wednesday, February 18 at 5:00 PM. This sacred time of worship offers us a moment to pause, reflect, pray, and begin the Lenten journey together with humble and open hearts. We hope you will come and share in this meaningful time as we seek God’s grace and renewal as a community.
A Called Church Council meeting - February 22, 2026
Church Council will meet next Sunday, February 22, immediately after worship service. Dr. Jonathan Page, who will be serving as a mediator between Wesley and Rising Hope, will be joining us for worship that morning and will meet with the Council afterward.
Dale Swartz Trinity Circle – Monday, January 26
All women of Wesley are warmly invited to join the Dale Swartz Trinity Circle on Monday, February 23, at 3:30 p.m. in the Parlor. For more information, please contact Gayle Besemer.
Honduras Mission Trip Support (April 19 - April 25, 2026)
We are excited to share that the dates for our Honduras Mission Trip have been finalized for April 19 (Sunday) – April 25 (Saturday). So far, seven church members have committed to joining the team—praise God!
Please keep the mission trip and team in your prayers as they prepare for this meaningful journey. This Sunday, we will distribute the Honduras Mission Donation List so our church family can support the ministry. We invite you to prayerfully consider how you might share your love through donations. You may also give a financial gift to help support the team’s travel and ministry expenses.
Thank you for being part of this mission through your prayers and generosity.
