Dear Wesley Church Family,
Grace and peace to you in the name of Christ. We are grateful for the ways God keeps us connected, even when circumstances require us to gather differently. Due to the severe cold and hazardous road conditions, we worshiped via Zoom last Sunday, and it was a joy to see one another on screen. We were thankful that 26 members joined together to connect, pray, and worship as one community of faith.
With temperatures rising and ice beginning to melt, we are hopeful that we will be able to gather in person this coming weekend. As always, we give thanks for your flexibility, faithfulness, and care for one another. Please take a moment to review the announcements below as we continue our shared life and ministry together.
Church Council Meeting – Saturday, February 7, 2026
The Church Council will meet this Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. During this meeting, we will hold a preliminary conversation about the possibility of partnering with Rising Hope. This initial discussion is intended to help us discern whether to move forward with further conversations with Rising Hope’s leadership.
All committee and board chairs are asked to come prepared with reports and any items requiring presentation or decision, so that our time together may be fruitful and well-discerned.
Monthly Prayer Meeting – February 5, 2026
Our monthly Prayer Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 5, at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. All are invited to come and pray together.
Scouts Sunday – February 8, 2026
We will celebrate Scouts Sunday on Sunday, February 8, and warmly welcome all Scouting families to join us for worship and fellowship in the Fellowship Hall.
Ash Wednesday Service – February 18, 2026
We will gather for our Ash Wednesday Service on Wednesday, February 18, at 5:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
