Grace and peace to you.
We are thankful for a meaningful and productive time with Dr. Page at our recent Council meeting. It was more than a meeting — it was a sacred opportunity to reflect on Wesley’s core values, to remember who we are as a church, and to prayerfully discern the next faithful steps God is calling us to take together.
I am currently at Roslyn Retreat Center in Richmond serving on the Board of the Ordained Ministry and interviewing provisional candidates. It is a meaningful responsibility, and I look forward to returning to Wesley on Thursday, grateful for your prayers and support. May God continue to guide our church as we listen, discern, and move forward together in faith.
Here are a few announcements for the coming week:
Monthly Prayer Meeting – Thursday, March 5 at 7:00 PM
I warmly invite you to join us for our Monthly Prayer Meeting next Thursday, March 5, at 7:00 PM. During this gathering, we will intentionally lift up our Honduras Mission Team in prayer as they prepare for their upcoming trip. We will be pairing our prayer partners with individual mission team members so that each person serving will be covered in faithful, ongoing prayer. This will be a meaningful opportunity to spiritually support those who are going on our behalf.
Please make every effort to come — especially if you feel called to stand alongside our mission team in prayer. In addition to praying for the Honduras team, we will also lift up the needs of our church, our community, and beyond. Let us come together in unity, trusting that God moves powerfully through the prayers of His people.
Honduras Mission Trip Support (April 19–25, 2026)
Please keep our mission team in your prayers as they prepare for this meaningful journey.
Team Leader: Pastor Joe
Team Members: Anjana, Charlie, Nia, Paul, Kelly, Pastor Michelle
We invite you to prayerfully consider supporting the team through donations. Thank you for partnering in this mission through your prayers and generosity.
