I am more than blessed to be the Pastor of Wesley UMC since June 2014. I’ve been blessed to be a Pastor with 25 years of service and an Ordained Elder since 1998. I have a variety of ministry experiences which include being the Bishop Assistant of Former Bishop of the Methodist Church of Puerto Rico, Rev. Dr. Juan A. Vera from 2001-2004. I was also a Missionary in Central and South America in the years 1987-1988.I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration with concentration in Marketing (Cum Laude) from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master’s Degree in Divinity (Magna Cum Laude) from the Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico.

I have a passion for Discipleship that transforms lives, and for Missions both local and International that enhances the quality of life of those in need. I share my home with my beloved husband, Angel who is an appointed Associate Pastor at Wesley UMC. Angel and I love to sing a joyful noise to the Lord and love to travel around beautiful Virginia and other places as well.

Isaac Hughes

ORGANIST

Mr. Isaac A. O. Hughes was born in Ghana and holds a Bachelor of Art and Master of Philosophy in Music from the University of Education, Ghana. He is a dynamic musician with over 25 years experience playing the organ/piano and leading choirs. Since 2019, Isaac has been the Organist and Choir Director of Ghana Wesley United Methodist Church, Woodbridge, VA.
Prior to this, he held various positions in the Methodist and Catholic church ranging from Music Director, Choir Director and Principal Organist for several churches in Ghana.

Victoria I. Williams

Victoria I. Williams is a multi-genre vocal musician (soprano), arranger, composer, music educator, and arts administrator based out of Washington, DC, and hailing from Richmond, VA.

 

Amid having a vast and varied career as a singer and performance artist, Victoria has simultaneously been working as an administrative professional, program administrator, and project manager for the past 14 years. 

 

Victoria holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance (cum laude) with a minor in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of the District of Columbia, where she was also initiated as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She is  presently pursuing a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.
